Storage Rack Loading/Unloading Instructions
- This
is a Two Person Operation
- Evenly
distribute the weight of rolled gym floor covers when loading/unloading
rack.

For proper weight distribution and safety, load from the bottom
up alternately form side-to-side and front to back.

Unload rack in following the same procedure in reverse top to
bottom.
Unloading
The Gym Floor Cover
ALWAYS
Begin with Top Roll
- Roll the
mobile storage rack into position at one end of the floor.
- Apply the
foot brakes to keep the rack stationary.
- Remove
the Velcro straps from the top roll of the gym floor cover allowing
it to unroll freely.
- Place one
person on each side of the floor covering; walk the gym floor
cover away from the storage rack to the opposite end of the gym.
- If necessary
adjust the cover to lie flat.
- Unlock
the caster brakes, move the storage rack sideways to the next
position, re-lock and repeat the process.
- When unloading
the cover allow approximately six inches for overlap between sections.
Loading
The Floor Cover
ALWAYS Begin
with Bottom Roll
- Pull back
one end of the floor cover approximately six feet to expose the
gym floor.
- Place the
rack in position on exposed section of the gym floor.
- Apply the
foot brakes to keep the rack stationary.
- Place one
person on each side of the floor cover.
- Beginning
with the bottom roller, rest the end of the floor cover over the
roller tube.
- Snap one
yellow tarp retainer over each end of the floor cover, holding
the cover on the roller. Make sure that the cover is centered
and wrinkle free. Caution must be used to keep the sides of the
floor cover from coming in contact with the bearings on each end
of the roller, damage to the cover may result.
- Using the
hand crank or power winder, slowly roll the floor cover onto the
roller tube, guiding it by hand to keep it centered on the roller.
- To keep
the cover from unrolling during transport, wrap one section of
the supplied Velcro around each end of the rolled floor cover
allowing the Velcro to overlap 6" to 8".
Optional
Power Winder
The power
winder comes with a die head and adapter. The adaptor pins to the
stub that sticks out of the bearing on the end of the roller tube.
The adapter fits into the die head, which fits into the power winder.
The winder has a forward and reverse switch.
Caution:
The manufactures instructions inside the winder case should be reviewed
for proper operation, care and maintenance.
