  • For proper weight distribution and safety, load from the bottom up alternately form side-to-side and front to back.
  • Unload rack in following the same procedure in reverse top to bottom.

Unloading The Gym Floor Cover

ALWAYS Begin with Top Roll

  1. Roll the mobile storage rack into position at one end of the floor.
  2. Apply the foot brakes to keep the rack stationary.
  3. Remove the Velcro straps from the top roll of the gym floor cover allowing it to unroll freely.
  4. Place one person on each side of the floor covering; walk the gym floor cover away from the storage rack to the opposite end of the gym.
  5. If necessary adjust the cover to lie flat.
  6. Unlock the caster brakes, move the storage rack sideways to the next position, re-lock and repeat the process.
  7. When unloading the cover allow approximately six inches for overlap between sections.

Loading The Floor Cover

ALWAYS Begin with Bottom Roll

  1. Pull back one end of the floor cover approximately six feet to expose the gym floor.
  2. Place the rack in position on exposed section of the gym floor.
  3. Apply the foot brakes to keep the rack stationary.
  4. Place one person on each side of the floor cover.
  5. Beginning with the bottom roller, rest the end of the floor cover over the roller tube.
  6. Snap one yellow tarp retainer over each end of the floor cover, holding the cover on the roller. Make sure that the cover is centered and wrinkle free. Caution must be used to keep the sides of the floor cover from coming in contact with the bearings on each end of the roller, damage to the cover may result.
  7. Using the hand crank or power winder, slowly roll the floor cover onto the roller tube, guiding it by hand to keep it centered on the roller.
  8. To keep the cover from unrolling during transport, wrap one section of the supplied Velcro around each end of the rolled floor cover allowing the Velcro to overlap 6" to 8".

Optional Power Winder

The power winder comes with a die head and adapter. The adaptor pins to the stub that sticks out of the bearing on the end of the roller tube. The adapter fits into the die head, which fits into the power winder. The winder has a forward and reverse switch.

Caution: The manufactures instructions inside the winder case should be reviewed for proper operation, care and maintenance.
